UVU has a contract with Strategic Marketing Affiliates (SMA), which handles all licensing and royalty collections associated with the UVU logos.
Vendors that desire to produce licensed products for resale to the general public must be licensed through SMA as a standard licensee, which requires a $75 application fee. Vendors that desire to only produce licensed products for internal use at UVU must be licensed through SMA as a restricted licensee. There is no fee to become a restricted licensee.
