Before Utah Valley: Prepped at Raft River High School in Malta, Idaho ... was State Champion in the 100m, 200m, 400m, and long jump in 2009 ... broke the 1A State Record in the 200m in 2009 ... was the State Champion in the triple jump in 2006 ... named the Times-News Track Athlete of the Year ... track team was State Champs in 2009 ... also played basketball, volleyball, and cross country in high school.

Personal: Graduated from Raft River High School in 2009 with a perfect 4.0 GPA ... was on the Honor Roll, National Honor Society, and was Academic All-State in track and basketball ...
