UVU Men, Women Lead after Day 1 of GWC Indoor Championships

At Utah Valley University ...
SOPHOMORE ~ (2011): (INDOOR) Competed in just one meet in the indoor season at the BYU Invitational (OUTDOOR) Won the decathlon (5,784) at the Great West Conference Championships...Placed fifth in the decathlon (5,624) at the BYU Invitational... Finished third in the 400m (54.28) at the UVU Open.

FRESHMAN ~ (2010): (INDOOR) Redshirted the indoor season ... (OUTDOOR) placed third in the decathlon at the GWC Outdoor Championships with 5560 total points, fifth in the pole vault (3.95m or 12'-11.50"), and 10th in the long jump (6.01m or 19'-08.75") as he helped his team repeat as conference champions ... posted season best times/marks of 11.55 (100m), 54.88 (400m), 5:12.28 (1500m), 17.24 (110m hurdles), 1.71m (high jump), 4.00m (pole vault), 6.28m (long jump), 10.13m (shot put), 29.72 (discus), 39.21m (javelin), and 5560 (decathlon).
