POCATELLO, Idaho - Utah Valley University's men's and women's track & field teams fared well at Idaho State this weekend for the second consecutive meet. In all, UVU managed to win five events at the two-day meet.

Drake Walker's victories in the 60 and 200-meter opens along with Trac Norris and Josh Monsen wins in the 1-mile and 3000-meter runs, respectively, led the way for the men, while senior Latoya Shaw's victory in the 60m dash paced the women. Walker won the 60 with a time of 7.01 seconds and the 200 in 22.41. Norris took home the 1-mile run in a time of 4:17.46 while Monson won the 3000m in 8:42.45 and Shaw the 60m open with 8.06 seconds.
