Indoor Season Continues at USU, ISU
Jan. 17, 2008
OREM, Utah - The Utah Valley track season continues this weekend as the Wolverines will travel north for a pair of one-day indoor meets at Utah State and Idaho State. UV will compete at Utah State on Friday then head to Pocatello, Idaho for the Idaho State meet on Saturday. The Wolverines will take full teams to both meets. "Idaho State will be a good test for our kids," UV head coach Scott Houle said. "All of the local teams, Idaho State and Montana will be there. All of our kids will be competing in their best events. It will be a good indicator about where we are at." Utah Valley competed last week at BYU where the Wolverines saw one school record fall. Ashley Timo broke the school record in the high jump while leaping to a first place finish. After this weekend's meet, UV will take two more trips to Idaho in the next two weeks, competing at Boise State and again at Idaho State.
