Wolverines, T-Birds Collide in Dual Saturday

OREM, Utah -- After competing in three different meets on three different days in California last week, the Utah Valley University men's and women's track teams will head to Southern Utah Saturday for a dual with the Thunderbirds. Field events get underway at 4:30 p.m with the men's discus at the Eccles Coliseum, while the track events get underway at 6 p.m. with the men's 110 hurdles. The meet will conclude around 8:35 p.m. with the women's 4x400 meters. For the Wolverines, it is their second dual of the season. Earlier this month, the Wolverines edged Idaho State 184.5-166.5. The meet with the T-Birds, which pits brother coaches Eric Houle (SUU), Scott Houle (UVU) and Dave Houle (UVU), is the second-to-last meet of the regular season. The Wolverines will head to the Steve Scott Invitational next weekend before traveling to Houston May 10-12 for the Great West Conference outdoor championships.
