UVU Athletes Open NCAA Track Preliminaries Thursday at UT

AUSTIN, Texas -- Four of Utah Valley University's five student-athletes participating in the NCAA Div. I Track and Field West Preliminary Round begin action Thursday at Mike A. Myers Stadium located on the campus of the University of Texas. McKell Camp-Nielson, who is ranked 14th in the nation in the javelin, opens at 10 a.m. MT, while Shelise Walker competes in the 1,500 meters at 5 p.m. and Nicholas Taylor will compete in the first of two events -- the 100 meters -- beginning at 5:30 p.m. Later in the evening, Tim Rowberry will compete in the 800 meters beginning at 7:10 p.m. Live results can be followed. Maryn Pincock will compete in the discuss beginning at 10 a.m. MT Friday, while Taylor will participate in the 200 meters at 7:10 p.m. Friday night. Live results can be found here.
