NAPERVILLE, Illinois -- Utah Valley University had 48 student athletes named to the Great West Conference Winter/Spring All-Academic Team, the conference office announced on Friday.

Outdoor Track & Field Female Athlete of the Year Tiera Zaugg leads an extensive list of athletes hailing from Men's & Women's Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field, Men's and Women's Basketball, Men's and Women's Golf, Softball and Baseball.

Selection to the team requires that the student-athlete achieve a minimum cumulative 3.2 grade point average and have participated in at least 50% of the contests. The honorees must also be at least a sophomore athletically

There were 14 male and 13 female members of the Indoor & Outdoor Track & Field teams that made the list. Six members of the women's basketball team, including three-time All-American Robyn Fairbanks, were also named the team.
