OREM, Utah - The Utah Valley State cross country team concludes its season on Saturday in the Independent Championships. Eight women-s and seven men-s team will compete in the race. The Wolverines will race with runners from Longwood, IPFW, South Dakota State, North Dakota State, Texas-Pan American, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and UC-Davis. Last year UC-Davis won the men-s and women-s title.
-The kids are all fresh and ready to go,- Utah Valley State coach Scott Houle said. -If we can run well we should be in the thick of things. It should be a fun meet. Hopefully we score well.-
