Sophomore (2013):
Batted .277 with six doubles and 17 runs batted in after returning from two-year LDS mission ... started 37 games and appeared in 38 ... had five stolen bases ... went 3-for-4 with four RBIs vs. Nevada on March 7 ... had nine multi-hit games.

Freshman (2010):
Appeared in 17 games as a true freshman and played both outfield and pitched ... made four starts and had nine pitching appearances and finished 0-1 with a 6.86 ERA ... tossed 19.2 innings, striking out 11 and allowing 15 earned runs ... came of the bench as a pinch hitter eight times and was 4-for-12 (.333) with a home run and four RBI ... was 3-for-3 with a three-run homer in a win over NJIT ... threw 3.1 innings and struck out six without allowing a run against Portland.

Before Utah Valley ...
Played at Lone Peak High School in Highland, Utah ... batted .465 with 43 RBI as a senior and was named First Team All-State by the Deseret News and the Salt Lake Tribune ... also earned first team All-Region honors ... hit 17 career home runs at Lone Peak ... helped team to second place finish at Utah State 5A Championships ... won the home run derby at the Utah State High School Baseball All Star Game ... also played football at Lone Peak.

Born in Las Vegas, Nevada ... parents are Jim and Leslie Andrus ... plans to major in Exercise Science at Utah Valley University ... enjoys wakeboarding and snowboarding ... suffered a leg injury his senior year of football and was diagnosed with Compartment Syndrome, which could have cost him loss of his leg and can be life threatening but has made a full recovery.
