Sophomore (2012): Made 11 appearances, including seven starts ... finished without a decision and posted a 6.91 ERA ... made all six of his starts in Great West action, going 0-0 with a 6.35 ERA ... was named to Great West's Academic All-Conference team ... pitched 27.1 innings, striking out 13 ... pitched for the Dubois County Bombers of the Prospect League in Huntinburg, Indiana during the summer ... was 2-0 with a 2.46 ERA during the summer.

Prepped at Spanish Fork High School ... helped team to region championships in 2006 and 2007 and was a member of 2006 State Champion team that included current Wolverine Jace Brinkerhoff ... named to 2007 Northwest Championship All-Tournament Team ... participated in 2008 Utah Valley All-Star Classic and Utah High School All-Star Game ... had a 10-2 record during summer league that traveled throughout the United States ... also played basketball at Spanish Fork and helped team to third place finish at state in 2007.
