OREM, Utah -
Utah Valley will play of the first of two midweek games against Utah on Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Smith’s Ballpark in Salt Lake City. Senior right-hander Devin Nelson will get the start for the Wolverines (5-14) with the Utes (8-10) going with right-hander Dalton Carroll.

Both teams lost their conference-opening series over the weekend at home. UVU lost two of three to North Dakota in the WAC opener with Utah getting swept by 4th-ranked Oregon State.

Utah Valley plays four in-state games this season, facing both Utah and BYU once at home and once on the road. The Utes will play at Brent Brown Ballpark in Orem on April 22.

In the series with North Dakota, Sean Moysh’s two-run home run in the eighth inning broke a 5-5 tie as the Wolverines notched an 8-5 win in the series opener. UND got the series win though with 10-1 and 10-4 wins in the final two games of the series.
                            
Utah Valley travels to Dallas Baptist for a three-game series beginning Friday before a Tuesday midweek game at UNLV. The Wolverine are back in action in WAC play March 28-30 at home against Bakersfield.
