OREM, Utah -- Geddes Robinson matched a single-game school record for rebounds and several others also had big nights as Utah Valley University defeated NJIT, 81-58 on Saturday night in the UCCU Center. The win is the team's sixth straight overall and improves UVU's Great West Conference record to 3-0.

"We gave a really good effort tonight. We were sharp and maintained a competitive mentality for 40 minutes as well as we've done this season," said Utah Valley head coach Dick Hunsaker. "Having that competitive effort and focus can lead to the rebounding that we had and can lead to a shooting night like we had from the arc."

Robinson's double-double was his 10th of the year, surpassing is record-total of nine set a season ago. The senior already owns the program's career rebound total record.
