OREM, Utah -- Members of the Utah Valley University men's basketball team aided UVU's Volunteer & Service Learning Center in partnering with Habitat for Humanity on a home build last week in Springville.

As they have in past years, the UVU basketball players helped on the home for a local family.

"The work that Habitat For Humanity does for people in our community is awesome," said Keawe Enos. "We've been able to gain an appreciation for that over the past couple years as we've been able to work with them. It's been a great experience to be able to volunteer with them and play a small part in the work that they do."

The home has three bedrooms and is 1,200 square feet.
