OREM, Utah - Utah Valley University Hall of Famer and current Orlando Magic guard Ronnie Price stopped by Coach Dick Hunsaker's Individual Summer Camp on Thursday and took time to speak to campers and sign autographs.

"It's always good to see Coach Hunsaker and be able to come back to UVU," Price said. "It's also fun to come and be a part of his camps and it's good to see that they haven't changed much. This year is especially special for me because I get to have my son here. Hopefully one day I'll be able to have my son participate in Coach Hunsaker's camps."

The nine-year NBA veteran spoke to campers about hard work, dedication and faith, and told them that these things will help them gain confidence, which will in turn help them become better basketball players. He also talked about the importance of goals and that everyone should always have a mission for where they want to go throughout their life.

Price, who played this past season with the Magic, has also spent two years with the Sacramento Kings (2005-07), four with the Utah Jazz (2007-11), and one season apiece with the Phoenix Suns (2011-12) and the Portland Trail Blazers (2012-13).

The veteran guard is UVU's school record holder in scoring average as he averaged 19.7 points per game in three seasons at UVU. He also upped his average to 24.3 ppg during his senior campaign (2004-05), which was good enough for third in the nation.

Price attributes Hunsaker and Utah Valley for much of the success that he has had during his time as a professional athlete as well as throughout his life.

"Coach Hunsaker has not just helped me with basketball but also with life. He's taught me how to become a man and to be accountable for the things that you do in life as well as those that you do on the basketball court. This has helped me to become a better person as well as a better professional athlete," Price added.

The former Wolverine star also mentioned how much he enjoys spending time with the campers when he comes back to Hunsaker's camps.

"I love being able to spend time with the kids. It's fun to see that the ones who were little years ago are now some of the oldest ones here," concluded Price. "It's also great to see that kids are still coming here to learn from Coach Hunsaker and that he is still teaching them the same way."
