Portland Trailblazers Release

Former Utah Valley University star Ronnie Price has signed a deal with the Portland Trailblazers. The guard, who played at Utah Valley from 2002-05, is a seven-year NBA veteran who spent last season with the Phoenix Suns.

Price played his first two seasons for the Sacramento Kings before a four-year stint with the Utah Jazz.

He was inducted to the Utah Valley University Athletic Hall of Fame in 2010 and ranks as the all-time leader in scoring average (22.2) in the school's NCAA Division I history.
