HOUSTON - Utah Valley will face its first road test of the season on Monday at the University of Houston at 7 p.m. CT/6 p.m. MT. The game can be heard live on 960 AM The Zone with Jim McCulloch on the play-by-play and on WolverineGreen.com.

The Wolverines (1-0) opened their 2011-12 season last Friday night in the UCCU Center with an 80-53 win over Simpson University behind 21 points from Isiah Williams and 18 points and 12 boards by Geddes Robinson.

The Cougars (1-0) scored an 88-42 win in their opener over Grambling State, which happens to be UVU's opponent in Orem on Wednesday. All five UH starters reached double figures in the win.

"Houston is a very athletic team that scores well from multiple positions," said UVU head coach Dick Hunsaker. "We are well-aware of the uphill battle we'll be facing."

Monday's matchup is the first meeting between the two clubs and Utah Valley's first game against a school from Conference USA.

The Wolverines return home to host Grambling State on Wednesday and will cap the week with Saturday's Homecoming Week game against UMKC. That game will air live on Fox College Sports nationwide.
