OREM, Utah -- Utah Valley heads out on the road this week for a two-game swing through Missouri and Cincinnati. The Wolverines will face the University of Missouri-Kansas City on Wednesday night at 6:05 p.m. MT before battling Big East Cincinnati in Ohio on Saturday night at 6 p.m. MT.

Both games can be heard live on 1400 KSTAR and WolverineGreen.com.

UMKC, of the Summit League, enters the game at 4-3 and is unbeaten in three home games inside the Swinney Recreation Center.

"UMKC has really played some good ball during the first month of the season. They're a veteran club with a good sense and feel for each other. They're going to be a very stiff challenge for us," said UVU head coach Dick Hunsaker.

The Wolverines are also 4-3 and have won four straight including last week's 70-68 victory at Pac-10 Oregon State. UVU also defeated Big Sky Sacramento State, 77-52, last Saturday night in the UCCU Center.

Jordan Swarbrick was named the Great West Conference Player of the Week on Monday after helping the Wolverines to the two wins. Swarbrick had a double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds and hit the game-winning free throws with 3.0 seconds left at Oregon State.

Against Sac State, Holton Hunsaker scored a career-high 23 points including five 3-pointers in the 25-point win. Hunsaker hit three straight during a 12-1 UVU run late in the first half that gave the home team a 16-point edge at the break.

Jay Couisnard's 15.7 ppg leads three players in the double figures for the UMKC Kangaroos. The Wolverines lead the all-time series 3-1.
