Wolverines Travel to Oregon for Bandon Dunes

OREM, Utah -- The Utah Valley University men's golf will travel to the Pacific Northwest for the Bandon Dunes Championship hosted by Gonzaga University beginning Friday and continuing through Sunday. The 54-hole tournament will be contested at the par-71, 6,902-yard Old Macdonald Course, which is one of four courses at the Bandon Dunes Golf Resort in Bandon, Ore. In addition to Utah Valley and Gonzaga, the University of Colorado, Fresno State, Long Beach State, North Colorado, Cal State Northridge, University of Oregon, Pacific, San Jose State, Santa Clara, SMU, UC Davis, UCLA, UMKC, UNC Wilmington, Washington State and the University of Washington will participate in the event. Live scoring of the event is available at www.golfstat.com. The Wolverines are coming off a third-place finish at the Snowman Getaway in Goodyear, Ariz. UVU's Michael Dart and Mason Casper tied for 17th, while Corey Eccles tied for 21st. Casper leads the team in scoring average at 72.53, followed by Eccles (74.53), Dart (75.38), Stratton Schulz (75.29) and Brayden Eriksen (77.00).
