This Week's Action: Utah Valley State is in Las Vegas, Nevada to compete in the District VII Shoot-Out on Monday and Tuesday. The 54 hole tournament begins with the first 36 holes on Monday on the Angel Park Mountain Course. The final 18 holes will take place Tuesday morning.
The lineup for the Wolverines will include Nic van Vuuren, Andrew Smith, Jeff Gibson, Dustin Robinson and Adam Tayler.
The 15 team tournament will be hosted by the University of Hawaii and include Air Force, Boise State, Colorado State, Denver, Hawaii, Hawaii-Hilo, Idaho, Nevada, San Diego State, Utah, UTEP, San Diego State, Weber State and Wyoming.
Wolverine Update: Senior Nic van Vuuren leads Utah Valley State with a 70.8 scoring average and is currently 5th in the nation in par 5 scoring (4.33).
van Vuuren has finished in the top-10 in all three tournaments so far this fall season, including a second place finish at the Vandal Fall Classic in UV's most recent tournament.
Up Next: Utah Valley State will host its lone dual of the fall season when they take on Idaho State on Monday, October 16th at Talon's Cove in Saratoga Springs.
