At Utah Valley University ... FRESHMAN ~ (09-10): 17-10 overall record (4-2 duals) ... named to the WWC Coaches' Honor Roll with a 3.35 GPA ... wrestled at both 165 and 184 on the year ... won the Cowboy Open in Laramie, Wyo. while he went 4-0 and placed second at the Northwest College Open in Powell, Wyo. as he went 2-1 ... also placed second at the UVU Open in Orem as he went 2-1 ... began the season 7-1 ... went 3-3 at 184 lbs. as he had to bump up two weight classes due to an injury at the end of the year ... picked up one victory by fall and three by major decision. Before Utah Valley: Prepped at Tooele High School ... a two-time State Champion ... four-time Region Finalist ... holds the record for the Most Consecutive Pins at Tooele HS with 16 ... went undefeated his senior year at 43-0 ... went 158-17 over his wrestling career at THS ... also played football in high school. Personal: Graduated from Tooele HS in 2009 with a 3.5 GPA ... expected major at UVU is Exercise and Sport Science ... enjoys ping pong and poker ... also recruited by Western State ... parents are Rod and Sharon. |
