Utah Valley University head man Greg Williams released his 2010-11 season schedule Thursday. It includes three home conference duals; the hosting of the fourth annual UVU Open and a much-anticipated rematch with nationally ranked Boise State in Boise, a year removed from the Wolverines largest upset in school history when they downed the Broncos at home.[+]

The National Wrestling Coaches Association has announced its annual Division I All-Academic Top 30 Teams and the NWCA Individual All-Academic wrestling team for the 2009-10 wrestling season and Utah Valley's wrestling team ranked ninth overall in GPA, while Benjamin Kjar, Justin Morrill, and Flint Ray were all named to the Division I All-Academic Team.[+]

Ben Kjar & Allyce Jones Named Wolverine Achievement Awards - Athletes of the Year

UVU athletes Benjamin Kjar (wrestling) and Allyce Jones (women's volleyball) were named the Wolverine Achievement Awards' Athletes of the Year Wednesday evening. Associate Athletic Director/Senior Woman Administrator Megan Kennedy also took home the Commitment to Excellence award.[+]

2009-10 Postseason Awards Announced by Western Wrestling Conference

As voted by its' coaches, the Western Wrestling Conference has announced postseason award winners for the 2009-10 season. Wyoming sophomore 184-pounder Joe LeBlanc was named WWC Wrestler of Year, 141-pound Air Force newcomer Cole VonOhlen was the unanimous WWC Freshman of the Year and Northern Iowa head man Brad Penrith was chosen by his peers as WWC Coach of the Year.[+]
