`Runners find groove in second half, top Utah Valley

UVU and CSUB will match up again in Wednesday's WAC Tournament first round.

FRESHMAN (2013-14): Appeared in all 30 games during her true freshman campaign, getting 23 starts along the way ... started the final 21 games of the 2013-14 season ... was second on the team in scoring with an 11.4 points per game average and also led the Wolverines on the glass with 6.2 rebounds per outing ... also averaged 1.1 assists and 0.8 steals in 28.1 minutes per game ... selected to the WAC All-Newcomer team at season's end after averaging a team-high 13.2 ppg and 6.6 rpg in conference-only action ... pieced together a run of 13 consecutive games in double figure scoring from Dec. 20 to Feb. 15 ... during the streak, she averaged 15.0 ppg, compared to just 7.2 ppg before the streak began ... became UVU's first-ever WAC women's basketball Player of the Week on Dec. 30 when she was tabbed for the award following a 20 point, nine rebound performance against New Orleans ... was the only Wolverine to win a Player of the Week award in 2013-14 ... scored a season-high 23 points against Sacramento State, also pulling in nine rebounds ... recorded a team-high three double-doubles on the season, the first of which came in a 14 point, 11 rebound performance vs. Bakersfield ... scored the game-winning field goal with 30 seconds left against Kansas City to finish with 16 points and 10 rebounds in a 49-43 win ... finished the year shooting 47.1 percent (131-278) from the field and 69.9 percent (79-113) from the free throw line.
