OREM, Utah - The Utah Valley women's basketball team hosts Division II Fort Lewis in an exhibition game Thursday at 4:30 p.m. in The McKay Center. The game precedes a men's exhibition game against Mesa State.

The Wolverines will open the 2008-09 season on Friday, Nov. 14 at 4:30 p.m. against Montana State in Orem, followed by a 3:00 p.m. tip against Mesa State the following day.

Utah Valley returns all five starters from last season's 16-12 team, led by AP All-America selection Robyn Fairbanks. The 16 win season is a school record for wins for the Wolverines in five years at the NCAA Division I level.

This year marks the final provisional season for Utah Valley University and is also the first season that the school is a member of the Great West Conference.
