Nov. 27, 2012
OREM, Utah -- The Utah Valley University women's basketball team will look to snap its current four-game losing streak this week on the road as it will take on Tulsa in Tulsa, Okla., on Thursday and South Dakota Saturday in Vermillion, S.D.
UVU is 1-5 and has dropped its last four games after going winless during its three-game Northern California road trip and falling at home to Long Beach State last Friday. While in California, UVU fell 81-72 to San Jose State, 80-67 to Santa Clara, and 74-62 to Sacramento State. In their most recent game against the 49ers, the Wolverines held a 19-point lead at halftime but couldn't hold off a hot-shooting Long Beach State team in the second half as UVU fell 77-69.
