Women's Basketball Hosts Western State Friday at 2pm

OREM, Utah - Utah Valley women's basketball hosts Western State on Friday afternoon at 2pm in The McKay Center, in the Wolverines' final game before the Christmas break. The game will have live GameTracker as well as free live audio and subscription live video at WolverineGreen.com. The Wolverines (9-3) will be looking to match last season's 10-3 pre-Christmas mark against the 8-2 Mountaineers, who are 8-2 and have four players averaging double figures, led by Audra Lawson's 14.2 points per game. Robyn Fairbanks leads Utah Valley with averages of 22.2 points and 9.8 rebounds per game, ranking her 6th nationally in points and 29th in rebounding. She had 17 points and set a Cameron Indoor Stadium record with 20 rebounds in the Wolverines' 95-61 loss at No. 14 Duke on Tuesday night in Durham, North Carolina. After starting the season 8-0, Utah Valley has lost three out of four games, with all three losses on the road. The Wolverines are still a perfect 5-0 at home. Following Friday's game, UV will have seven days off before hosting Portland State on Saturday, December 29th at 3:05 pm and Gonzaga on Monday, December 31st at 3:05pm.
