CORVALLIS, Ore. -- The Utah Valley University women's golf team closed out the Oregon State Invitational Tuesday in 13th place.
Sophomore Lynn-Marie Nagel, who shot rounds of 76-75-77, led the Wolverines in a tie for 29th, while Jordyn Dougal tied for 36th with rounds of 80-64-76 at the par-72, 6,141-yard Trysting Tree Golf Club.
The University of Washington, led by Charlotte Thomas, who won the tournament at five-under par, won the tournament by 25 shots over second-place Washington State.
Behind Nagel and Dougal, Brooke Bliss (76-79-80) tied for 55th; Hannah Herman (80-72-85) finished in a tie for 61st, while Cassandra Lesa (80-82-84) finished in a tie for 80th.
The Wolverines are back in action Oct. 8-10 at the Price's Give 'em Five Classic hosted by New Mexico State University.
