LAS CRUCES, N.M. -- Utah Valley University freshman golfer Lynn-Mari'e Nagel recorded a new school record with a low after 54 holes after shooting a three-day total 224 (75-74-75) in finishing tied for 27th at the Price's Give `Em Five Intercollegiate Wednesday.

Nagel's 224 breaks the previous school record by 11 shots, which was shared by Erika Baldwin and Monica Fox.

"I'm proud of the way Lynn-Mari'e has progressed this season, and it showed this week with three very solid rounds of golf," UVU women's golf coach Sue Nyhus said.

As the team, the Wolverines (940) finished 15th.

Baylor (869) won the team title by one shot over the University of Idaho, while North Texas was third at 875.

After shooting consecutive 80s, freshman Haley Dunn shot a final-round 75 to finish in a tie for 63rd. Celeste Gish (81-79-83) and Jordyn Dougal (85-80-78) tied for 81st and Morgan Workman(80-84-85) tied for 85th.

"Our team is very young, but it's good to see our young players improve week to week," Nyhus said.

Idaho's Kayla Mortellaro and Baylor's Jaclyn Jansen tied for the individual title after shooting a three-day total -5.
