RWI - Final Results

KAPOLEI, Hawaii -- The Utah Valley University women's golf team closed out the 2011 fall season with 12th-place finish at the Rainbow Wahine Invitational Wednesday at the Kapolei Golf Course.

UVU freshman Lynn-Mari'e Nagel tied a single-round low with a final-round 74. Nagel, who entered the day 48th, moved up eight spots with the solid round. For the day she had three bogeys and a birdie to lead the Wolverines.

Sophomore Celeste Gish shot a final-round 78 and finished 44th, while Jordyn Dougal (86) finished 58th, while Brooke Bliss (87) and Haley Dunn (81) tied for 62nd.

The Pac-12 finished 1-2-3. UCLA ran away with the tournament with at -15 while Washington (+5) was second and Stanford (+19) was third.

UCLA's Lee Lopez won with a -7, while San Jose State's Madeleine Ziegert, UCLA's Stephanie Kono and Washington's Sadena Parks tied for at -3.

The Wolverines open the 2012 spring season Mar. 1 at the Duel in Desert and the Red Rocks Invitational Mar. 3-4 in Sedona, Ariz.
