OREM, Utah - Utah Valley Golf is holding its 2007 Wolverine Golf Academy during the months of June and July at Cedar Hills Golf Course under the direction of men's golf coach Clark Rustand and women's golf coach Denise Larson.
The first camp, the Willie the Wolverine Fundamentals Camp, is for youngsters ages 4-6 and who are new to the sport. It will be held June 11-13 from 10am-11:30am with a registration cost of $40.
The UV Green Beginners Camp will be held the following week, June 18-20, from 9am-Noon and is for golfers from 7-10 years of age. Registration is $90 for this camp, which also allows golfers the opportunity to play three holes at Cedar Hills.
For youth ages 10-14, the UV Gold Intermediate Camp will be held July 9-12 from 8am-Noon. Registration is $120 with each golfer playing nine holes on the final day with a lunch and camp awards following play.
The Wolverine Elite Camp is for campers ages 15-18 on July 16-20 from 8am-Noon. A handicap of 18 or better is recommended, although not required. Cost for this camp is $200 with a full 18 holes at Cedar Hills and a BBQ and awards following play. Each camper may also invite two guests to lunch on the final day.
All camps include a t-shirt and daily refreshments. All age groups are recommendations only.
