SAN MARTIN, Calif. -- Utah Valley University women's golf coach Sue Nyhus, who is currently participating at her first USGA Senior Women's Amateur Championship at CordeValle Golf Club in San Martin, Calif., was featured by Brian DePasquale of the USGA on Saturday. The Senior Am completes Nyhus' unprecedented journey as she has also previously played in the U.S. Girls' Junior, U.S. Women's Open, Women's Amateur, Women's Mid-Amateur and the USGA Women's State Team. The fourth-year head coach, who was the 1999 U.S. Women's Amateur Public Links runner-up, carded a 14-over 86 through 18 holes of stroke play on Saturday. Nyhus begins her second round on Sunday at 2:20 p.m. MT.
