Former Wolverine goalkeeper Tasha Bell is entering her third season as Brent Anderson's assistant coach.
In Bell's tenure as assistant coach, the Wolverines captured back-to-back Great West Conference regular season and tournament crowns.
Bell spent the 2010 season as a student assistant for UVU following the completion of her playing career.
Bell played for Utah Valley from 2004-06 and again in 2009 after serving a Spanish-speaking LDS mission in South Chicago. As a player Bell played in 53 career games at goalkeeper and as a senior led UVU to a Great West Conference division and tournament championship including a shutout of Houston Baptist in the tournament championship match in Newark, New Jersey.
Bell was named to the Great West All-Conference team, the Academic All-Conference team and to the All-Tournament team.
As a coach, Bell has worked with the UC Strikers and Wasatch Soccer prior to her time as a student assistant for the Wolverines. Bell graduated from Utah Valley University in 2011 with a behavioral science degree in psychology.
Prior to coming to UVU, she attended Davis High School where she lettered in both soccer and basketball, earning Academic All-State. In her spare time she enjoys running, biking, climbing reading and spending time with her family.
