Fort Wayne, IN- The Utah Valley State soccer beat New Jersey Institute of Technology 6-0 on Friday. Becca Petersen and Brooke Roberts led the Wolverine attack by scoring two goals apiece. Chelsea Stone and Megan Berrett each added goals. Berrett also had two assists. Petersen, Stone, Mallory Schott, Courtney Robbins and April Graf all had assists. Utah Valley out shot NJIT 29-2.

"Overall I was pleased with the speed of our play from all of our players," Utah Valley State coach Brent Anderson said. "We moved the ball around very nicely."

The win ups Utah Valley's record to 2-1 and sets up a tough match up with IPFW Saturday night. The two teams met twice last year with UV winning 3-2 in double overtime and losing 2-1 in the United Soccer Conference championship game.

Following Saturday's game, the Wolverines play their first home game on Sept 9 against Dixie State.
