CEDAR CITY, Utah - Adrienne Schneider scored her second game-winning goal of the season as Utah Valley earned a come-from-behind 3-2 win at Southern Utah on Saturday afternoon.

Schneider, who helped the Wolverines (4-0-1) remain undefeated, scored in the 58th minute on a Katey Turner assist when she fired a shot into the high corner from about 23 yards out.

"This was a good test for us. It's the first time we've trailed at the half so the girls had to figure it out and come back to win," said head coach Brent Anderson. "This team feels like it can win every time they step on the field. Even when we were down the girls still felt like they could win. I continue to be amazed by the mental composure we have."

Jennifer Lohner and Kendra Buchanan also scored for the Wolverines, who moved to 4-1-1 all-time against the T-Birds and continued the longest undefeated streak, seven games, in UVU's school history.

Utah Valley scored the first goal of the game, in the 20th minute, when Lohner recorded her third goal of the season on the first of two Turner assists.

Southern Utah (0-4-0) tied it up just 32 seconds later when Shaley Ipson-Allen scored on a cross from Jennifer Johnson.

The T-Birds took the lead in the 34th minute when Stacey Brinkman followed a rebound on a shot from Kelsey Buchanan, the sister of UVU's Kendra Buchanan.

The Wolverines' Buchanan tied the game just over 10 minutes into the second half on a shot into the top corner from close to 25 yards away, setting up Schneider's game-winner.

Up next, the Wolverines will compete at the Idaho State Classic in Pocatello where they'll face Wyoming (September 19) and UC Davis (September 21).
