OREM, Utah - After leading his team to the inaugural Great West Conference Soccer Championship in November, Utah Valley University coach Brent Anderson has announced the signing of six players to National Letters of Intent. The class includes five players from Utah and one from Washington.

Macken Brady (Cove, Utah), Jade Colebrook (Riverton, Utah), Haley Curtis (Yakima, Wash.), Lexi Dunn (Layton, Utah), Alexa Pulley (Sandy, Utah) and Kim Stratford (Springville, Utah) are the six players that will enter UVU in Fall, 2010.

"I am very pleased with the quality of this year's recruiting class," said Anderson, the GWC West Division Coach of the Year. "Not only are these high caliber student-athletes that will have a great impact on our program, they also possess character and values that will add to our positive team environment. I wish it were August. I'm very anxious to get these new recruits here and working with the team."

Brady, a defender, started for three seasons at Sky View High School, the same high school that produced current Wolverines Danielle Anderson and Nicole Archibald. She was named the Logan Herald Journal Player of the Year in 2009 and first-team All-Valley as a junior in 2008. During her three years as starter, she led the Bobcats to 22 shutouts.

Goalkeeper Jade Colebrook notched 20 career shutouts from her sophomore to senior seasons for Riverton High School. She earned honorable mention All-State honors and was a First Team All-Region selection three times. Colebrook also ranked in the top six in the state of Utah in shutouts for three consecutive seasons.

Curtis prepped at West Valley High School, earning conference MVP honors as a senior in 2009. She was named First Team All-Conference twice and to the All-Washington State soccer team in 2009. The forward scored 70 goals during her four-year varsity career and led her team to the class 3A Final Four Championship as a sophomore and again as a senior.

At Davis High School, Dunn helped her team to three consecutive region championships from 2007-2009. A team captain as a junior and senior, the defender was also named Second Team All-State two times.

Pulley, a midfielder, is a four-year letter winner from Alta High School and helped the Hawks to a remarkable four straight Utah State Championships as well as four straight region titles. She earned both First-Team All-State and All-Region honors as a junior and senior.

Stratford, a midfielder who prepped at Springville High School, rounds out the class. A four-year letter winner, she earned honorable mention All-State in 2008 as well as helping the Red Devils to a region championship in both 2008 and 2009.
