OREM, Utah - Making its first home appearance since the first week in October, Utah Valley will return home to finish United Soccer Conference play as the Wolverines host NJIT on Friday and Delaware State on Saturday.

Kickoff for both games will be at 3 p.m. The back-to-back home contests mark the first time UV has played consecutive home matches since Oct. 2006.

Utah Valley will be facing the two East Coast foes in the same season for the second consecutive season. The Woverines enjoyed a 6-0 victory over NJIT last year, which was the first time the two teams had met. The Highlanders and Wolverines played early in the season in Orem last year.

UV has won both matches against opponent Delaware State. Both games the two teams played were in the USC tournament in both 2005 and 2006. In 2005, the Wolverines scored a school-record 12 goals on their way to a 12-0 win over the Hornets.

Last season, in a much more competitive match, Utah Valley rallied from a 1-0 deficit to beat DSU 2-1 in Washington DC. This game marks the first time to two USC counterparts will square off in the preseason.

Following the conclusion of conference play this week, Utah Valley will head back out on the road to finish its regular season with two road games in two weeks. Next week, the Wolverines will head to Cedar City to take on in-state opponent, SUU.

The following week, the Wolverines will head to the Northwest to take on Eastern Washington. UV will finish its season when the Wolverines host the USC Tournament in the second week of November.
