SUMMER FUNDAMENTALS CAMP (Grades 9-12+) Program Dates: June 20-22, 2011
Camp Objectives Under the direction of head softball coach Todd Fairbourne, the Utah Valley Summer Fundamentals Camp is designed to give serious players the instruction to compete at a high level. Emphasis will be placed upon each individual players skill and knowledge on the field. Skills will be improved through personal and small group instruction, drills and games. The camp coaches will instruct in all areas of the game including game situations and proper techniques and theory of hitting, pitching, base running and defense (all positions). Games will be played each day with players having the opportunity to implement what they have learned in game situations with the camp coaches present. What to Bring Players will need to bring their own bats, batting gloves, helmets, gloves, catchers gear and any other softball equipment needed. It is also recommended that each camper bring there own water bottle, sunscreen, etc. as needed. Please eat prior to camp. Lunch will not be provided. Out of Town Campers Campers staying overnight can contact Jim Daniels at 801-427-2277 for a discounted hotel rate.
