Concluded a very successful prep career at Spanish Fork High School in 2012 ... as a junior, was named Utah's 4A MVP after helping lead the Dons to a state championship ... was also named the 4A State Tournament MVP that season not to mention the Utah Valley Player of the Year ... helped SFHS to region championships in all four of her years on the team (2009-12) ... helped her team to a pair of state runner-up finishes sandwiched between its state title (2010 and 2012) ... also earned the Academic Athlete Award and the Athletic Award of Excellence during her prep years.

Comes to UVU following one season with Salt Lake Community College ... went 8-2 during her freshman campaign with the Bruins, tossing 61.1 innings to go along with 34 strikeouts and a 2.62 ERA ... appeared in 20 games and got eight starts from the circle as SLCC claimed a Region championship and advanced all the way to the NJCAA National Championship before falling in two games to Wallace State.
