Wolverines Drop Final Two Games at Washington
Santa Clara Box Score : Washington Box Score: Season Stats Seattle, WA -€“ The Utah Valley State softball team lost its last two games at the Husky Fever Classic on Sunday. Utah Valley lost 2-0 to Santa Clara and 8-0 to No. 15 Washington in six innings. In both games the Wolverines struggled to produce at the plate as they had only two hits in the two games. Those two hits came from Natalie Paulsen and Kaeleigh Forsyth against Santa Clara. Santa Clara scored a run in the fourth and sixth inning to earn the win. Against Washington, Husky pitcher Danielle Lawrie tossed a perfect game against the Wolverines. The Husky offense scored two runs in the first, one in the third, two in the fourth and three in sixth. The two losses dropped Utah Valley-€™s record to 5-6. They play four games at New Mexico next weekend.
