Four Wolverines named All-WAC in volleyball

Lauren Stringham and McKenna Tait were both named to the First Team, while Brookelyn Hall was named to the Second and Nakisha Willden to the All-Freshmen.

SENIOR ~ (2013): Named to the All-WAC preseason team ... named to the Wolverine Classic All-Tournament team ... named to the All-WAC second team and earned All-Academic honors ... named WAC player of the weekafter helping the Wolverines to two wins and averaging 11.57 assists, 3.14 digs, 0.86 kills and 0.86 blocks and setting the team to a .298 hitting percentage for the week of Oct. 28-Nov. 3 ...became Utah Valley's all-time leader in career assists at UMKC on Nov. 2. and passed theprevious mark of 4,057 early in the first set on against the Kangaroos and finished withcareer 4,291 assists ... finished third all-time in assists per set with 9.47 and first all-time in sets and matches played with 453 sets and 124 total matches played ... ended senior campaign with 118 kils, 20 aces, 283 digs, 95 blocks and 1,161 assists ... led the Wolveirnes in double-doubles with 10.

JUNIOR ~ (2012): Named First Team All-Great West Conference for the second consecutive year after delivering 961 assists and 100 total kills on the season ... finished second in the GWC in total assists and in assists per set ... was fourth in the league in service aces (30) posted 300 assists during conference play alone ... started every match for UVU in 2012 ... led the team in double-doubles with 13 ... was twice named GWC Player of the Week ... recorded the lone Wolverine triple-double on the season, finishing with 10 kills, 45 assists, and 14 digs vs. Cal Poly on Sep. 14 ... set the UVU single-match record for assists when she tallied a career-best 65 assists in a 3-2 win at Utah State on Oct. 9 ... was named to the All-Tournament team at all four weekend tournaments the Wolverines participated in during non-conference play ... was also named to the GWC All-Tournament team after posting another double-double in the championship match vs. Houston Baptist.

SOPHOMORE ~ (2011): Named 2011 Great West Conference Setter of the Year after posting a career-high 1095 assists and finishing third in the GWC in assists per set (9.65) ... selected First Team All-GWC ... named GWC All-Academic team ... finished 2011 with career-highs in assists (1095), digs (260), and blocks (84) ... tallied UVU's only triple-double on the year, notching 10 kills, 36 assists, and 12 digs in the GWC regular season title-clinching match against North Dakota on Nov. 11 ... also recored 11 double-doubles, including a 52 assist, 11 dig performance at Weber State on Sept. 20 ... posted a season-high 53 assists at Boise State on Nov. 1 ... picked up a career-best seven block assists twice, first against Northern Arizona on Sept. 10 and again vs. NJIT Oct. 8 ... named to the All-Tournament Team for the La Quinta Inn & Suites Invitational in Orem ... finished with 102 kills for the second consecutive season with a .271 attack percentage.

FRESHMAN ~ (2010): Named to the GWC All-Newcomer Team and to the All-Conference Second Team ... was also a one-time GWC Offensive Player of the Week ... named the ASU Invitational MVP after an outstanding weekend of play at Arizona State ... started and played in all 32 matches on the year ... recorded a team-high 1,074 assists for a tops 9.34 average and was third on the squad in service aces with 33 and in blocks with 75, was also fourth in digs with 209 ... also led the team in attack percentage at .310 and recorded 102 kills ... recorded a career best 61 assists vs. South Dakota on Nov. 20 and tallied double digits in assists in all 32 matches.
