UVU Crowned GWC Regular Season Champs with Win Over North Dakota

The title is the first for Wolverine volleyball.

At Utah Valley University ...
JUNIOR ~ (2010): Was a one-time GWC Defensive Player of the Week ... played in all 32 matches and started 31 of them ... recorded the second most blocks on the team with 104 which included a 0.95 block/set average ... posted the third best attack percentage with a .277 clip as she tallied 167 kills ... added 35 digs, six assists and four service aces ... posted a season-best nine blocks in a win at Arizona State on Sept. 10 ... recorded double figures in kills three times on the season and had a career-high 13 at South Dakota on Sept. 30.

SOPHOMORE ~ (2009): Started all 32 matches ... Led the team in blocks with 104 and solo blocks (11) ... Recorded a season-high two solo blocks and eight block assists against Boise State (Oct. 5) ... Tallied a season-high nine kills against Missouri (Sept. 5) and Idaho State (Oct. 17) ... Had eight kills in two other matches.

FRESHMAN ~ (2008): Appeared in all 26 matches, starting 11 ... had 65 kills (1.05 per set) ... second on the team with a .87 blocks per set average ... had four block solos and 50 block assists ... had a season-high 10 kills on 11 chances (.909) in a win over Chicago State on Oct. 7 ... had a season-high six block assists in Div. I Independent Championship final against Cal State Bakersfield ... had 12 service aces.
